A hostel used Austin's 1st firehouse built in 1800s. Modest but nice..i liked the classic wooden beds, kitchen and shared bathroom's old feature much better than today's facilities. the wooden bunk bed is better than the pipe bed of ordinary dorm rooms. There is a hidden guest bar behind the bookshelf at lobby..all matches classical district's air.

The staff are professional, but chill as well. The place is nice and clean and the atmosphere provides a chance to meet and learn from people.

People are hip and nice. The property is well designed. Very Gen Z.

Location, location location. Finally Staff. Amazing bar below the hostel. super friendly barkeep. Shared bathrooms were clean. Shared kitchen, which of the double as a communal area and a few of small areas to sit and chill and read.

I love the racks l, lantern and fans in each bed. Rara was very nice and I loved the fun stuff she organized. People in the front desk were also super friendly and helpful
