It is like going into a colonial home. There was a coffee machine, fridge and ice machine in the living room. Each room was named after someone and told about them. The breakfast was served in another b and b house nearby, with a tour of the house afterwards.
The house we stayed was cute…. The room was nice and clean and comfortable.
Next day morning we had breakfast at the Duff mansion and it was great. Everybody got to sit together and eat a very nice well southern breakfast made from scratch. Our host was very nice and gave us the story about the house and her family ties to it…. Great place to stay…
Charming neighborhood and friendlt staff. Tour of the Duff Green house was excellent.
Charming old building near downtown Vicksburg. The same owners own the nearby Duff Green Mansion bed and breakfast where you are invited for wine at 5 PM, this morning we were serve an elaborate breakfast in the mansion in the beautiful dining room. Food was served in courses. If I had a complaint I saw no way to control the AC temp, it was too cold at night. Quiet place. Rooms are named after Mississippi literary lions, I was in the John Grisham room. They had Tennessee Williams, Faulkner, etc.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast was included. Communication with management prior to and during checking was excellent. Staff was exceptionally friendly...Great Southern hospitality!
