The hotel was very nice, and the staff was excellent.
My biggest issue is that I booked and paid for my room a week in advance but when we got there the room was not available. I was told that booking over booked the rooms. There was only one room available thst I had to take and a family member had to sleep on a couch. My thought is that it's a horrible practice to take a room from someone who paid a week in advance.
Good variety of breakfast, plenty of seating. Bed was firm and comfy. Loved the big roomy shower. The bar on top floor was awesome, plenty of room & seating. Great views. Good vibes.
Enjoyed the downtown area of Richmond. Good location. Breakfast was excellent and appreciated the hot meal items. Customer Service desk was responsive to give us a different room when AC was reported as not working.
I did like that the Hampton Inn was very close to I 95. I also love that Hamptons Inns are very clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful!
