The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the place was quiet, breakfast was delicious...even though the hotel was undergoing renovations on the outside, the inside was completely redone, and the decor was reminiscent of the early years of the hotel with a mix of modern. My husband made the reservation for me and I had not read the reviews. After reading the reviews, I didn't have high expectations for this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed my stay. If ever in the area again, I will stay there.
Very comfortable bed. The air conditioner worked good. Nice large screen TV. Good valet service.
The inside was stunning! Loved the style inside. They were doing construction on the outside to restore the building. I very much appreciated the parking garage right next door that also had a walkway into the building.
Despite the reconstruction the property was very nice clean and upscale. The esthetic was top tier!
Location was perfect for the comedy show at the Majestic Theatre we went to. Close to a couple of good restaurants. We walked to most places we went.
