Location
A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Hotel Pennsylvania» is located in New York. This hotel is located minutes away from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Madison Square Garden, Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre and Padre Pio Shrine.
At the hotel
You can stop by the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available on the territory. Ask for more information when checking in. Sports fans will be able to enjoy a fitness center.
You can arrange a business meeting, a board meeting, and even a job interview as there is a business center. To book an excursion, consult the tour assistance desk of the hotel. Take your pet with you. Pets are allowed. Accessible for guests with disabilities: the elevator helps them to go to the highest floors.

Location - within walking distance of many tourist attractions and great transport links.
After change of room was undertaken all was fine. Price and location suit short term stay and easy access to most of NY. Reception staff very efficient and helpful. Conscierge very efficient, helpful and knowledgable.
Room given initiallly was not up to scratch - very old, tired and in dire need of updating, cleaning and replacement of bathroom facilities. Did ask to get moved and did eventually happen (after a few visits to Manager). New room was clean, adequate and appropriate to price charged.

hotel room was filthy and no way I would have even put my dog in it, don't know why all hotel rooms aren't updated and cleaned properly
Superb location and clearly was a great venue when first built, but it’s looking very tired now, unless you can bag one of the newly refurbished rooms which they will allow you to upgrade too at check in for another $100 a night! The receptionists could be more friendly, but the security and cleaners were great. In balance, not bad value for such a convenient location.
The extra charge for the ‘services/facilities’ that you won’t use. The gym for example is not even located in the hotel, it’s a block away! $35 per day wether you use it or not. This had to be paid before they would release the room key. You also get charged local taxes at this point too which bumps up the price!
Rooms were clean but had very dated decor and fittings. People were also smoking in certain rooms so the smell naturally carried throughout.

A little bit old facilities.
superb location ,handy to explore in any direction ,uptown, downtown , east or west with subway just metres away & Penn Station opposite . rooms are spacious & clean ,& staff are always helpful . Really good value as a budget type hotel.
Have stayed many times & although the hotel could probably do with a makeover it was not a problem for me .
