Awesome staff! Nice and very clean room. Well maintained property. Comfortable place to stay.
The property was fantastic, gorgeous common areas and rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bath tub (bathroom in general), and extremely kind and attentive staff. Parking was easy (expensive, but it's downtown SF -- I was happy to have a secure spot). Great value for the price, I would have expected to pay 50-100% more for a hotel like this downtown.
Not much on the block, but it's a good central location nonetheless -- you're a short walk from Japan Town or Filmore, a mid-length walk from Chinatown / north beach or the museums, and a quick bus or cab from the park, Haight, the Mission, etc.
I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
Convenient location, parking available and the staff were awesome.
This is such a special, historical place. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They even upgraded our room and put extra touches to make us feel welcome. Very comfy bed and luxurious bathroom.
It covered what we wanted and needed. (We are not big breakfast fans.) My husband would like cereal.
