It was quiet. The lovely lady at the front desk gave us a room above the office.
The smell of the Jasmine bushes lining the driveway was
delightful!
All went pretty well, with a few exceptions noted below. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet location. Staff was very helpful when we had to add extra nights. Room was clean.
The place is fully renovated and deserves a much higher rating.
Need to alert the hotel that they are still sending out to guests booking their services old alerts from the last pandemic stating the place was undergoing intense renovation work, which might confuse and prompt people to cancel their booking.
Friendly and accommodating staff, exceptionally clean room, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, quiet (near a main road, but it didn’t bother me at all), simple but tasteful decor, convenient proximity to UCSB, restaurants, groceries, coffee, and beautiful natural surroundings.
Good location for a visit to UCSB. Walking distance to restaurants. Clean but small room for 3 people.
