Great location and value. Breakfast was good and nice, quite and clean hotel. No disappointments. When checking in there is a portable table on wheels used as a reception desk. Not a very professional first impression but it worked.

Beautiful view from the restaurant, large room, despite its shortcomings. Staff were disheveled in appearance and often missing from the front desk entirely, the recent remodel of the interiors has rendered a useless, bazaar-looking lobby and rooms worse than a motel- the doors rattle, the plastic wood flooring is cheap and causes loud footsteps from floors above, the basement room we were assigned was dark and spooky feeling, there is an overall lack of signage (hard to find our room), inadequate (not up to code) staircases, worn carpeting, understaffed restaurant (no acknowledgement after 5 minutes standing there), a misguided offer of a free drink to every hotel guest leading to long lines for one barista who often left her post in the morning, and an overall feeling of disinterest of the hotel towards its customers.
