The upstairs apartment was comfortably roomy for two persons. The kitchen was clean and fully functional with a handy coffee maker, freezer for ice, refrigerator, stove with a kettle for boiling water for tea. Doors between the family room and the bedroom allowed for one person to watch TV and the other to sleep in the bedroom. The air conditioner was efficient and fully adjustable. The patio deck was wonderful with a view of tall pine trees all around. The best thing was that the location was quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys quiet and fresh air, and does not mind climbing stairs.
It was very clean and well kept grounds. Lots of big trees and geese and ducks. Beds very comfortable in room Pine
The property was very clean the owner Chuck is very gracious. The cabin I stayed in is surrounded by pines. It was just relaxing and wonderful. I would go again.
We loved everything.. it was a beautiful spot and it was so so easy so get a boat rental
We stayed at the hidden retreat and absolutely enjoyed our own private space on an acre of pine trees. The owner was very friendly and we had access to the lake and fishing and boating. The home was clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed. We are already booked another stay while we were there. I absolutely recommend this place.
