Beautiful view rooms with comfortable beds. Good (not great) WiFi for video calls. Great water pressure in the shower. Loads of fun things for kids - the downstairs play room was a huge hit with free billiards and ping pong, pay to play video games and air hockey, and claw machines. The kids pool and large waterslide was also amazing and so much fun. Enjoyed the shuttle to town but it had very limited hours so we mostly walked or took an Uber to the beach (Xiaowan is less windy and way more swimmable than Ship’s Rock) early in the day and rode the shuttle (which started running at 6pm) back to the hotel.
Breakfast was great with lots of variety for Asians, Westerners, vegetarians, and picky children! haha! We enjoyed the swimming pool and the hotel amentities i.e table tennis, billiards when we got tired of swimming and being on the beach. The hotel shuttle bus that runs every 30 mins to the night market was super convenient because there was NO parking available during the busy holiday. So glad that was an option.
The hotel room was comfortable and clean. We had a nice view of the hotel and ocean. We had stayed at an inn close to the night market and then stayed at Fullon so the kids could enjoy the children's pool with the slides. There isn't much nearby.
There is a free shuttle to the night market area so just follow the schedule and where you get dropped off is where you get picked up. It's around a 5 minute drive but if we had walked to the night market, it would have taken around 40 minutes.
You head down to b1 level to reach the outdoor swimming pool and a play area: air hockey plus some other arcade games and a small children's library area.
Very comfortable and wide beds, nice oceán view, nice people and staff
If you have kids, they will LOVE the kid's pool and water slides. Actually the beach is not always a good option for swimming (too hot during most of the day, and sometimes the waves are too strong), so the kid's pool becomes a lifesaver for parents. Staff are very polite and helpful above and beyond. The rooms are clean and large. Facilities are great. They even have games room where kids can shoot hoops, play snooker, etc. Breakfast is awesome with lots of options.
