Nice modern & clean hotel. Staff very friendly, and the rates were very good. Also, they have AC, very important in the summer. This is actually unusual being on the outskirts of Basel, CH, since hotel in Switzerland are not allowed to have AC (environmental reasons), so for summer trip to Basel, this is key.
The newness of the hotel and how comfortable it was.
Good location between Swiss, German and borders, nice acknowledgment of our mini honeymoon, thank you for that.
Spacious rooms, great facilities within, we had a coffee machine and kettle, which was a nice touch. Private and secure parking
The family room includes a sofa, a kitchen, and a separate room with bunkbeds. Large bathroom with great shower. Air Conditioning, and good light-blocking shades. Free parking. Included breakfast was very good.
The hotel surprised us with it's cool design touches and the room felt almost like we were staying at a boutique hotel. Very nice bathroom, very comfy beds, AC was necessary and worked very well. There is even a mini fridge to use, and there is a great organic produce store just a 5 minute walk down the road from the hotel that's worth visiting to get some things to put in the fridge :-)
