This is a very old fashioned traditional gem. My husband and I stayed a night after finishing a few days hiking. It was a treat to swim in the large pool and hang around in the shade of the massively big gardens, rather like a park. Staff very kindly let us into

The dinner in the restaurant was plentiful as was the breakfast. The room was very spacious overlooking the garden and the bed comfortable.
