The staff were super accommodating. The location while somewhat isolated from major services. Easily makes up for that with the incredibly beautiful location by the stream under the shadow of a medieval fortress.
Had a wonderful stay. Big thanks to the chef who accommodated our group of 12 for dinner. It was a such an amazing meal, we ate at the restaurant the following day
Beautiful town and location, picturesque views, center of town.
The location is incredible! Located in the shadow of a castle on the river. It’s like a fairytale. The decor is wonderful, and the bathroom was very nice and clean and the beds very comfortable.
The swimming pool was a nice feature to come back to after walking for so long.
The most exceptional part was dinner. The chef is whimsical and his food is delicious, and the staff could not have been friendlier! It was a perfect evening.
Hostellerie Les Griffons was a surprising treat! We stopped overnight on the way to Spain after flying into Paris and weren't after much- just beds and a pet friendly place for our cats. We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it worked out great. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel and great breakfast the next day. The small town was super pretty and scenic. We may have to make a point to come back one day to stay a bit longer.
