Simple, quiet, cool temperature at night and not cold. Very friendly hosts, full of energy and ready to help. Very comfortable beds. Warm covers.
I loved the patio, especially under the lights in the evening. But the best thing was the food and the owner. She hand picks every ingredient and everything is homemade.
The property is near the main grocery store. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. The restaurant/bar is very nice. Great burger!
The accommodation standard felt basic yet clean and cozy and the atmosphere quite convivial with a bar serving food downstairs, although I didn't use these facilities. The centre of Montcuq village, a good 10 minute walk away from the location of the hotel, while charming was a little dead on a Monday night and on returning to the hotel that evening it felt like there was more going on at the hotel than in the village centre. The room was quiet and comfortable and even though the room faced onto the main road passing the village there was so little traffic at night I was not woken once even though the window was slightly open.
The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Our host was friendly and very helpful and the meals were good value.
