The location is wonderful. Right on a nice street. The manager was very helpful and gave exceptional restaurant recommendations

It was all wonderful, but the staff specifically took time to mention some specific things we would like based on our age and interests.

It was extremely close to the Papal Palace and nearby parking. The hotelier spotted my extremely less than adequate French and right away gave us a detailed explanation of the city, some extra sites to see. My husband and I were quite thrilled with this!

Firstly, a very warm and personable welcome met me at reception. (So busy chatting were we that i never caught the names of the owners.) Help was volunteered and given to get my bag up the three flights in this historic building. I was generously given an adaptor and quite some time was devoted to helping me try to solve an e-mail problem. Storing luggage after check-out was not a problem. The room was immaculate, tastefully and creatively decorated and was very comfortable and homely. I had a wonderful view of the roofs of Avignon intra muros. I was furthermore given an excellent recommendation for eating nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this delightful hotel - a high point of my week.
