Nice breakfast and exceptionnal meal at the restaurant
Staff were excellent and very helpful. We booked 2 rooms. One room had an issue with a flooded bathroom. Allison arranged a studio apt in another hotel with transportation! A great experience in this hotel.

We were only there one night and the rooms were fine. What made our stay wonderful was Alex, who was working the desk that week. He put 100%+ into making our group happy by offering rooms in the same building (one at a discount) and heroically driving us when our Uber didn't show up in the morning. Alex is the BEST!!
For a small town hotel it was an amazing surprise - the reception, dining and bar area have been done out amazingly with an incredible wooden counter and plants hanging from every wall. It was like finding a pleasant island oasis. Alison and family were very hospitable and the food was pretty good too...........we really enjoyed our one night stay en route to a canal barging trip. A definite place to stay over if you need accommodation in the area.
