We came to Corte for a multi-day hiking trip in the area. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to the hotel on the first night because we missed the last train from Bastia. We contacted the hotel, and they responded with remarkable understanding. They didn’t charge us for the missed night, and when we arrived the next morning, they kindly let us leave our luggage in their office so we could go hiking before our room was ready. The hotel is easy to reach, and despite our room facing the road, the area was surprisingly quiet. We were very happy with the balcony and the spacious bathroom as well.

A real old cutie, basic with a good location, lift, close to old town and sightseeing, 15 minute walk uphill from the station. On the way to the Citadel and environs. Good value.
