We were given the choice of a sunny room or one on the shady side. Since it was extremely hot out we appreciated the ability to chose a room on the shady side. An added bonus was that we also had a lovely patio overlooking the garden. Also, the dinner in the restaurant was the best we had in 4 weeks in France. Equivalent to a one star Michelin! Very creative and extremely delicious!

Great Hotel-Restaurant option to stop for a couple of days in order to do the Vosges routes. Nice bar-terrace and private secure parking in front of the hotel. Nice small-village with other restaurants nearby. Motorbike friendly. Owner allowed us to prepare sandwiches for our picknick tours. Rooms quite big, clean and breakfast quite enough.

Reception was very friendly and helpful . Definite language barrier - my French is not good and reception’s English was not good but we were able to communicate reasonably well . Room was clean and bathroom had a bathtub . our room , 201 was on the street but was quite quiet . Our view from the room of the Valley was great On site restaurant opened a bit late ,7:00PM but food was good with reasonable price point . Breakfast was adequate .

Staff spoke english well enough to help us and make our stay smooth.
