The location! Right in the middle of the old town - we spent ages with the windows and shutters open just watching the world go by.
Downtown it is! There was a great sense of being in the historic part of Vannes. And the market, so many restaurants and the harbor were all down the street from our front door. We appreciated the WiFi and cable TV connection, as well as the washer and dryer.
