Wonderful location, an excellent base from which to explore Amiens, the Somme and the Hortillonnages.
Miguel and Isabel are wonderful hosts ( and Isabel’s mum!) and their property is beautifully appointed , very spacious and has magnificent views of the Somme from the balcony. It is perfectly located for a stay in Amiens, particularly for those who have read the novel Birdsong as the house featured in the book is on the very same Boulevard with vivid descriptions of life there at the beginning of the last century.
The property is kept to a very high standard. Located close to the cathedral and restaurants on the somme river. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Arranged parking in their garage for €10 per day (approx 8 min walk away).
Clean and comfortable apartment. Was great having 2 en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds. The balcony overlooking the river was lovely. It was beautifully decorated.
