Standing on 4 verdant hectares with century-old trees and flowers in the heart of the Rhone Valley is Le Domaine du Colombier, a beautiful 14th-century Bastide country house. The hotel offers rooms and suites finely decorated and furnished with style. All rooms are equipped with bath or shower and toilet, direct dial telephone, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV and WiFi internet access. Chef Johan Thyriot creates gourmet cuisine with regional flavors and fresh produce from the Drôme and Ardèche area. Cooking classes are offered that feature local recipes. The property also offers a second restaurant on site, the "Bistrot270". Reservations are required for both restaurants. Without prior reservation, the property cannot guarantee availability". Our stay at the Colombier Hotel was most enjoyable. We certainly will recommend to our friends.
Incredible service. Very friendly staff. Delightful pool. We are at the main restaurant and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We enjoyed walking around the property especially the fountains and portage garden.
Quick pit stop on the way around Europe - perfection for the night. New favourite place for stopping off.
Good location between Lyon and Marseille. Newly renovated buildings with character. Very nice room. The restaurant wasexcellent, the wines, howeverm were not equal to the food and horribly expensive. As a result we skipped breakfast.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in whilst travelling through France and spain, (and we do stay in 5* properties). The location is great, only minutes from the motorway. The property is beautiful renovated. The rooms elegant and as for the restaurants WOW! The Bistro produces fantastic food, without a Michelin Star! I would recommend this place to anyone.
