How stay was extremely short, just overnight with early AM departure.
Location is beautiful and peaceful with amazing, well kept grounds.
The restaurant, advertised was closed; however the staff was extremely helpful in finding us alternative with our food request. Note that we went completely off season and most places were closed as Hotel is located in a tourist area. All hotels in area were mostly empty and most restaurant closed for dinner. But they found a place for us to eat that was just amazing and corresponded to what we asked for. They did call about 10 places for us and even checked their menu so we would be happy.
By the time we came back down from settling in, they had a reservation made for us in a great little place: "La Chaumiere" in Montignac near the Lascaux Cave

great location for visiting Lascaux Caves. nice large room in rural location with the sound of nearby stream. had a sauna and hot tub with the pool.
it is a beautiful out of the way location, lovely hosts, and a beautiful, well maintained small hotel, with lovely grounds.
This beautiful old mill has been renovated with much love and care, it's a great experience to stay there and the hosts were very friendly. We very much enjoyed the pool as we arrived on a hot day. Perfect stay for visiting Lascaux IV. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in this beautiful setting.
Beautiful setting with lovely gardens. Owners very charming and very helpful. Room very comfortable.
