Logis Hotel Restaurant La Vieille Auberge, Art and Gallery, Суиллак, Франция

This was a return visit after a twenty year gap and was a most enjoyable three day stay. Despite a difficulty with chefs being unavailable the team created a menu that was a delight and of a high standard. There isn't a lift but the staff were very helpful in carrying luggage to our room. Madam went out of her way to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible and we thank her for it. It is a good base to explore the Dordogne and well worth a visit.

The room is cozy and comfortable with a view of the frontage although the bathroom is small. The bathroom is small but there is a bathtub and it is sparklingly clean. We stayed for two nights only but they cleaned the room in the morning. There is also a small refrigerator and a water heater to make a hot drink. The bed is comfortable and has an electric socket and light on both sides of the bed. They also have a restaurant and breakfast is good.
