The room was about as cool as I had expected it to be, and I had pretty high expectations. :) The breakfast was surprisingly good too- both the selection of food, and the cool atmosphere in a cave.
It was nice to be able walk into town. Also convenient for excursious to many other towns in the Loire Valley.

Unique troglodyte room. Kind staff. 15 minute walk to restaurants in town and to the castle.
Never thought a room in a cave could be so comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was superb
Lovely quiet spot, great pool for relaxing. Rooms all different with separate entrances. Great for our dog. Short walk to shops and restaurants . Bit quirky but in a nice way.
