I loved how quaint and charming it was. Very cozy, felt like a hotel.
Jean-Paul, location and breakfast make Maison Boussingault the perfect place to stay for a night or eight, like we did! Located in the city center, it is the perfect location to explore Avignon and surrounding areas--don't miss the abbey at Villeneuve-les-Avignon. The breakfast was the highlight of the day--fresh croissants, homemade jams, cheeses. Room was lovely--AC, clean, safe. I stay at B&Bs all over the world and have never met a host like Jean-Paul. His thoughtfulness, attention to detail and caring approach make for a memorable stay. Take all his recommendations--restaurants, places to see, foods to try. He's spot-on every time!
Very friendly host who provided breakfast with many options including omelettes. Secure and quiet location behind a large wall very close to the centre of Avignon.
The hospitality was excellent and contributed to the comfort of our stay.

The location is only a couple blocks off the Rue de Republique - the main street so it is very quiet.
Jean Paul was wonderful. He helped us with everything down to the perfect local restaurant and getting us set with the taxi in the morning. His home is very lovely. The room had everything you need. It was in a quite area of Avignon but yet very close to everything. We would definitely visit again.
