I liked the location just in front of the train station; the breakfast was perfect, there were many sweet and salty choices; I had dinner at the restaurant and it was really god, waiters super friendly and cosy atmosphere.
The proximity to the train station and to brasseries. We arrived around 9 pm and were thankful to still be able to have dinner and drinks nearby. Happily, the neighborhood isn't seedy like you would expect near a train station. Bordeaux is pretty chill. The front desk folks were young and super friendly!
Great staff at the Mercure! Sasha and Angel were super helpful during our check in and later answering French language questions and recommendations about local restaurants. We only stayed one night but found the hotel to be clean and in good repair. The lounge/dining area had several board games and we enjoyed playing Monopoly in French!
Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I only,wish they served pots of coffee.
A great place to stay for easy access to the train station. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, close to restaurants.
