The owner was super friendly. Even though he purely spoke french, we were able to understand each other
A nice couple, of British extraction, assisted their poor American “cousin” from get to go. I truly enjoyed their company one morning for coffee and biscuits. Carlos, the owner, is a gentleman of the finest sort. It was as advertised. Perfect place to stop after enjoying the surrounds, get sleep, and hit it again. Smack dab invited middle of it all.
Excellent little hotel with a very nice manager/owner. It is an easy walk from SNCF - located right on the main square. Nice breakfast and even a small kitchen if you want to cook something yourself or just use the refrigerator.
The rooms are large and clean and quiet. It was a wonderful experience. I will come back again.

Brilliant location in the centre of town. Quiet despite that. The couple went out of their way to meet my needs. Kitchen available if one has need of it on a longer stay. Fascinating traditional French building with a nicely updated room.
