Loved the history of the property, the staff was beyond attentive and helpful in every possible way. The grounds and view were stunning and just far enough away from the noise of downtown to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of this stunning palace.

A beautiful property that has clearly had a huge recent investment. Very large comfortable room with great bed, bathroom, and its own entrance on to a terrace to the side of the main garden. Great breakfast, but we didn't eat there otherwise as there are too many options to explore in Dubrovnik's old town. Very friendly and professional staff, and the unexpected complimentary private transfer to the airport by Range Rover was great!

The hotel staff are a real asset to the hotel - really excellent and with a mind set that the customer comes first. As regards location the hotel is within walking distance of the old city (a wonderful attraction) but be prepared for some exercise. We are walkers so no problem to us. Our experience is that if you need a taxi then call an Uber - our on experience of hailing a cab wasn't good and very over priced. The grounds and buildings at the hotel are very elegant and the hotel staff are rightly proud of the restoration work. Breakfast was good. Pool area was very relaxing and a good area to enjoy the sun and unwind. We ate at the hotel on two evening. Food/drink was very good but it's high end so expect to pay high end prices.
