Clean, convenient, friendly staff and close to tram.
Very friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast (highly enjoyable in the outdoor sitting area), perfect location next to the river and within a few min walk from the German train station. Very quiet (my room was facing the backside).
Very convenient location near the conference center so multiple tram lines were nearby making it very easy to get around the city.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and felt right at home. The room was efficient and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to pick up the trolleys to get around town, and on check in guests receive a Basel Card that gives you free passage on all public transportation as well as 50% off most museums.
Breakfast was a delightful spread of hot and cold selections, coffee, tea, juices and fresh fruit.
The staff were the highlight! Had a helpful suggestion whenever it was needed, with a friendly smile.
