Only a 5-minute drive from Ascona, the La Rocca hotel in Porto Ronco enjoys a quiet, elevated location, 3 minutes' walk from Lago Maggiore. It offers free WiFi. All guest rooms in the La Rocca hotel have a balcony or a terrace and - thanks to the hillside location - offer superb lake views. Most rooms feature air-conditioning. Movies can be streamed on the smart TV of every room, and guests are welcome to use the hotel's computer corner. Characteristic Ticino dishes and international cuisine are served on the covered terrace or in the restaurant. The hotel bar offers aromatic coffee and selected drinks. Half board includes the dish of the day for dinner. If you booked half board you can also opt for dining à la carte and will get the half board price refunded. The hotel has its own private beach in Porto Ronco, which is only an 8-minute walk away from the hotel. Locarno, Ascona, Brissago including the islands, Gambarogno and Italy can also be reached by boat from Porto Ronco.

The food is very good. No need to have dinner out. The room is nice, the views are very nice of the lake. The staff is responsive and friendly.

The stuffy were very helpful and we got an updated room, which had an amazing view.
Also the hotel located in a calm area so you could relax. For the parking, I would recommend to reserve a parking if you go by a car.
