Location. May not be ideal for families with kids as this is in residential apartment & need to maintain silence between 10pm to 6AM.
The apartment was very well located - only a short walk from the Barfussplatz and the Altstadt where there were plenty of shops and restaurants. From the train station, it was either a 12 minute walk or a 2 minute bus ride, which was also very convenient upon arrival and departure. The apartment was clean and cozy, with a working and equipped kitchen and laundry if needed in the basement (we didn't use it). The host was very friendly and communicated well with us throughout our stay. The Baselcard that came with the apartment was very helpful and gave us free use of the public transit and 50% all the museums we visited.
The apartment was large and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location only a 10 minute walk to the old town.
