The Hotel am Spisertor is located next to the pedestrianized shopping area right in the center of St. Gallen. It has a garden terrace and is connected to the Kursana retirement home. Underground parking is free of charge for hotel guests. Each room at the Spisertor Hotel has a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is available for free. The Spisertor stop of the Trogenerbahn line is in front of the hotel. St. Gallen Main Train Station is a 10-minute walk away.

Staff were very friendly and the location was great.
Whenever I visit St. Gallen, I stay at Hotel Am Spisertor due to its central location, reasonable price, and quality. Having stayed there more than 10 times over the past 20 years, I can attest that the hotel and its staff have never failed to excel. I will return next time I am in town.
