This 2-star superior hotel enjoys a quiet location on the outskirts of St. Gallen, with frequent bus links to the center. WiFi and parking are available free of charge. All rooms at Hotel Sporting feature a flat-screen satellite TV, a mini-bar, and a bathroom with crystal-glass shower and a hairdryer. Anti-allergenic pillows are available on request. Electric kettles are available on every floor for the guests to use. A rich breakfast buffet is served every morning between 6:00 am and 9:30 am. The university as well as motorway connections to Zürich-Kloten and towards Rorschach and Bregenz-Lindau are close by. The Sporting Hotel is close to St. Gallen’s Haggen and Bruggen Train Stations.

Good location, very close to the train station, in quiet surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful with check-in and check-out. Bed was comfortable. Lots of plug sockets for charging devices.
Breakfast was good.
Hotel is a little old fashioned but hotel tries to compensate that with a free bottle of water and hot drinks.
The hotel is a short walk fro St Gallen Bruggen Railway station or on trolley bus route 3 and 4.
A super comfortable room at Swiss standards with good breakfast.
Clean hotel. Comfortable bed.
Check-in with a code to get the key from a box.
Overall I had a very good 1 night sleepover for the business purpose. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive and they allowed me to park the car for the duration of the stay despite low number of available places.
