Even though we got there much later than anticipated the 1st night they were there to welcome us! Nice location, good breakfast and always clean when we came back during our 3 day stay.
The location of this hotel is IDEAL in Wengen! It is located on the main street and is steps away from many restaurants, the cable car to Mannlichen, lots of kids' activities, shopping, and the Coop. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is even a secret back balcony for snacks and drinks in the afternoon. We had a view of the Jungfrau from our window and the beds were very comfortable.
The staff were all very nice. The location and views were wonderful.
I liked the little corner one-person room, which made a weekend getaway to Wengen affordable. Two walls were surrounded by windows and the balcony with a view of Monch was inviting. The location is hard to beat, right in the center of town a short walk from the station. The little bathroom is perfectly adequate.
Higher altitude equals cooler temperature than Lauterbrunen or Grindelwald. Right next to Mannlichen lift station.
