The couple that run the property are lovely, did not speak English but helped us arrange transport and dietary problems regardless. Good locations and large rooms.
A relaxing stay at Blue Surf View – close to nature and full of charm
We had a truly lovely stay at Blue Surf View. The location is perfect – just a few steps from Unakuruwa Beach and only a short walk from the stunning and peaceful Silent Beach, one of the most beautiful spots we visited in the area.
Breakfast was a daily highlight, with fresh tropical fruits and delicious local flavors served with care. The atmosphere at the guesthouse is warm, quiet, and welcoming – ideal for relaxing or enjoying the nearby surf.
One of the most memorable moments was watching a local climber effortlessly scale the palm trees right in the garden to bring down fresh coconuts, which we then tasted straight from the source. It was such a unique and authentic experience that we’ll never forget.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy the laid-back charm of southern Sri Lanka.
The view from our room was extraordinary. The room was immaculate and the service was brilliant. So friendly and welcoming!!
The breakfast was delicious and home meade- we were stuffed every morning!!
