Buddika is a great host and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was good home cooked Sri Lankan curry and we were definitely full. The safari was great and I fully recommend it. It's only 2 minutes from the Udawalawe National Park entrance. We went in the afternoon for Safari with Shabaka Pradeep (arranged by Buddika) he was brilliant, we saw so many elephants, the park wasn't too full of jeeps and they didn't crowd the animals. Buddika went above and beyond, the room was brand new.
The stay and safari was really good. The safari driver was very informative and explained very clearly
Super clean and new rooms, good dinner at a good price and the owner was so helpful with just everything. He arranged a great safari tour with the nicest guide Siri, a spontaneous ride to the baby elephant transit home and also a taxi to Ahangama! The location is just perfect for a safari tour so all in all I can 100% recommend staying there!
This was the best stay of our trip. The family is so welcoming. Amazing meal for dinner. And safari arranged so that we had breakfast ready and we’re just minutes from the entrance. Cannot recommend it enough.
Buddika is a very kind and welcoming host, we really enjoyed his company. He tried to help us with everything we needed and requested without hesitation. Also the food there was great! Totally recommend staying there. He also arranged us a safari tour in the national park, which was again a very fun and interesting activity!
