Hard to find the right words to describe Ekuku.. our staying was an unforgettable experience. Situated far from the noise of the main road, Ekuku is a peaceful and chilled place, where you’ll find yourself immersed in the tropical nature and surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, just a few minutes away from the best Midigama surf spots. We stayed in the lovely left apartment for 2 weeks, enjoying the relaxed vibe of the place and the delicious food of the restaurant, a nice mix of European and Sri Lankan flavours (everything’s super tasty and we recommend not to miss the lasagna when available!). Hedi, Alex and all the Ekuku crew were fantastic, always willing to share the best tips and advices and taking care of our needs. Ekuku is definitely the place to be in Midigama, we felt like home and will be back for sure! Be sure to follow them on Instagram to get a glimpse of the atmosphere and check out upcoming events. Amazing Place With lovely friendly staff! Perfect place to relax and they have the most delicious banana pancakes in Midigama! Will Definetly be returning to Ekuku Lake houses.

Ekuku was our home is Sri Lanka. We loved the place and the staff, and felt super welcomed. The food at the restaurant is amazing! Alex and Hedwig's advices for the area are the best :)
