Loved everything about the property- from the host to the little birds eating away in the front porch. We had booked this place for one night and wish we booked for more as it turned out to be the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka in our trip. Randy took us around in the evening and we saw his beautiful village and could attend the local festival an hour away - we got really lucky. We woke up the next day for a 4:30 AM safari and Randy was there waiting for us with two bottles of water. Absolutely beautiful hospitality and kindness. We were in awe. Big thanks to Randy and his wife for such a lovely time in Yala and for making our anniversary such a special one.
A homely hotel. Our family enjoyed the stay. Best and beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast, beautiful location. A peaceful place to spend a holiday. We felt like our home. We got a welcome drink on arrival which was a great welcome. Next time if I visit srilanka for sure my interinery will have elegant lake house.
Randy and his family are great people, their place is amazing, in the middle of nowhere but with all the needed facilities. It has been a great experience to have dinner in their accommodation and we had the opportunity to discover more about their village thanks to Randy’s guided tour. We definitely recommend this place!!
This place is truly amazing. The family does everything to ensure your pleasant stay and the rooms are super clean and nice. The garden is beautiful and we just enjoyed sitting and relaxing there. They offer amazing things to discover but also feel free to say no, when you rather want to stay in.
They offered amazing food and so much hospitality! Very grateful for the two nights we had there.
Staying here was an absolute highlight of our whole trip! Randy and his wife and adorable little daughter were amazing to us the whole stay. They are hospitable, welcomed us with big smiles and bigger hearts. Words cannot sum up how much we enjoyed our stay here!
Randy cared about our well-being, offered snacks to our little kids, walked us around the stunning lake right in front of the property and even took us on a tour to a jungle safari to see wild elephants and all sorts of wildlife.
Property was super clean, breakfast was beyond exquisite, location is perfect and we highly recommend this place!
