Amazing location, right on the beach. I loved sitting on the patio in front of my room to relax and cool down. The beach is very quiet, yet there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. A perfect place to unwind! The room itself is spacious and very clean!

I liked this place so much that I stayed a week. Then I came back again. Location: Il Nido is right on the beach. You can't get a better location than this. There are restaurants and bars nearby. It's the perfect stop between Hikkaduwa and Galle. Staff: Pavan went out of his way to help me when I had a middle of the night call. My cell service wasn't the best from my room. He worked with me to test the wifi and find a location in the building to take the call. He even brought atable and chair to to roof for me. Electricity: It stormed a lot while I was here. The electricity didn't go out once. Air-conditioning: Having air conditioning was nice during the hot days. It worked great. Wifi: If you are working remotely, like me, get a sim card. Wifi works for checking emails/ WhatsApp, but not doing Zoom calls. Hot water: Works best when there is sun.

Location of property is direct on the beach with amazing view. Some restaurants are available as well

The balcony view was amazing. Crashing sounds of the waves was therapeutic. Pavan was so helpful, despite the heavy rainfall he managed to get us milk tea. Location was great. Lala s place Restaurant is very close to the property which is a gem for good food. Must visit.
