The property is immaculate and well designed. It was our best Guest house after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff are welcoming and engaging, the rooms were spotless and spacious with a comfortable bed. The restaurant buffet was fantastic and great value. It has a beautiful swimming pool and is indeed surrounded by nature with bush at your back door . It is in an excellent location. We could not fault this property. It really is a 10 out of 10 and we strongly recommend.

Very nice guesthouse managed by a sweet family who takes great care of you and the property. The food was excellent, and the safari experience we did with them too. They were very flexible to adapt things for us because of our 3 year old child. One of the best places we stayed in our 1month travel in Sri Lanka.

In short, we loved everything. The location, the cleanliness, the pool... But the best thing was the attitude of Thilak (who clearly is the boss), his son, and his entire staff.

They arranged transport from our previous accommodation and to our next accommodation. They also took us to safari with their own jeep.

As for food - the breakfast, as well as dinner, was delicious. The dinner is a rice&curry buffet with spicy and non-spicy options. For lunch, there are several soups and sandwiches available. We were traveling with a picky 4yo, so this was a lifesaver.

The host is very nice. All the staff are very friendly. The food they cook is delicious. I would really recommend the place.

Nature House is a small family-run hotel. The father-son duo who run the place are lovely people - very professional and yet very warm in their welcome and hospitality. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there. The room was spic and span, bathrooms spotlessly sparkling. We enjoyed the lovely Srilankan dinner buffet (do not miss it!) and a hearty breakfast at the place. Although we reached after their kitchen was closed in the afternoon, they accommodated my request of a quick sandwich for my daughter. We enjoyed the swimming pool too! The hotel is also walking distance from the Elephant Transit Home and 15-20 mins by vehicle from the National Park. We booked our safari and onward journey through Nature House and both were organised very well and at reasonable rates. You can absolutely stay there if you are in Uduwalawe. Look no further :)
