It has a good location for the price. We had the balcony room and I loved the view and the birds chirping every morning. The owner is a very kind and helpful man. We would definitely come back!

The family I lived with truly healed me. The house was very Victorian looking and the owner took great pleasure in telling me about the history of the area and people. The time during which I found this place, I wasn’t well emotionally but the amount of motherly care and familial these people showed me every morning, healed me. Laundry services, breakfast and coffee, helping me with recommendations, good conversations, their dog I loved, the way the birds would fly inside the house sometimes like straight out of a Disney movie, and most importantly, the love. All facilities were super clean and nice- towels, clean toilet, linen, mosquito net, fan, etc etc. A small tuktuk ride away from the fort too!

Great place to stay. Room was nice and big, had a garden view. Bathroom was nice. Hot water available. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The dog is very cute too. It's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Tuktuk costs about 200 lkr.
