Well-kept rooms, part western, part-traditional Japanese, a clean and comfortable common space, tabletop games available, welcoming staff
This B&B is very pretty with beautiful furniture, artwork, and views. Well maintained old building. The room is huge. The twin room I booked included a tatami room with TV, separate toilet and bath areas. Bed was comfortable and clean. View from the room was the wooded area of the property and it was very relaxing.
Breakfast was delicious and filling (bread is baked on site) and served according to my preferred time. Coffee and tea are readily available at the social space/dining area. Drinks are also available to buy.
Takuma at reception was very helpful and spoke English sharing stories about the B&B and facilitating my request for a taxi to the train station after check-out. They are very responsive on booking.com message app and informed me that they usually have a shuttle service to the train stations but that the driver was not available during that time. They reduced my fee to consider the hassle of access. Great service.
