Clean and perfect place for a family trip and a nice place for snowing.
One of the recommended hotel to stay if you really want to enjoy snow for short vacation. Family-friendly hotel. Just walk out from the hotel and you can play with snow (children vibes).
Have free parking. The snow field beside the hotel.
The free shuttle bus service was convenient to get to/from the train station, and close enough just a 5-mins walk, manageable with luggages on snow.
If you’re able to book the hotel’s buffet dinner at 5000 yen per person, it can save a lot of time to look for food options in the area (which we’re not familiar with, and not driving). However, the hotel said that we could not pre-book the dinner because they need to fulfill the guests who are staying with dinner plans first. Fortunately we were able to book the dinner for the 2 nights we stayed. Dinner & breakfast were both good. They gave different time slots for meals and it was an excellent system to ensure everyone had a table.
Ski rental is just next to the hotel and special rates are given to hotel guests.
