The staff were so nice and kind. The breakfast was so good too!
I had never stayed at a Route Inn property before, but I will definitely be staying in the future! The breakfast is simply best-in-class, and the public bath area is fabulous. The "single" bed was very comfortable, and larger than I expected. The location in Chitose is super convenient, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I spent the duration of my return flight to Tokyo going through their directory to look for other Route Inn properties I want to stay at, and found at least a dozen!
Great breakfast. Great onsen. Main reason for us to book this hotel was the available free shuttle service to New Chitose airport, and that was very good and on time.
And the staff was very friendly and helpful.
This was surprisingly happen to be the most satisfying hotel experience during our entire trip in Japan!
I personally didn’t use the onsen but my mum said it was definitely a plus point and well kept. The breakfast was very good, not 5* quality but definitely better than a few other hotels I’ve been to. It was very busy at 6:30am - obviously since it’s an airport hotel. The rooms were small but comfortable. The service was absolutely excellent, out of all the hotels I stayed in on this trip I think this hotel impressed me with the service the most. Every staff member was courteous and helpful, despite the minimal interaction. Finally the best plus point of the hotel is the complimentary shuttle bus to the airport, which you must reserve in advance. Thankfully I had called ahead and our group were the only ones going on the bus so even though we were 10 minutes late, the bus waited for us and we highly appreciated that.
Location is convenient, just 5 min walk to Chitose JR station, and there is a famous Toriyaki restaurant cross the street.
