The public toilet and the Onsen were always clean, seemed like there was staff cleaning every hour. The room was clean as well.
Facilities are clean, have a kitchen, fridge, oven.
Yamato Maritime museum is just 10-15 minutes walking distance, and the bus station with the buses to Hiroshima city is also the same walking distance.
occasionally my simple disposable slippers I brought with myself were thrown away while cleaning the premises, but the hotel manager was very apologetic and provided even extra gift, including the slippers, very nice of him! thanks a lot!
It’s a special experience to stay in a submarine concept hostel. Not a submarine fan but I did also enjoy it, especially given this is what the city is famous for. Room is spacious and clean. Location is also convenient from the ferry and JR.
Free use of the bath house downstairs. Very clean dining hall and kitchen. Very clean toilets. Hair dryer provided at the shower.
The deco, design as a submarine. The complimentary Onsen downstairs is the selling factor. Won’t have that on a submarine for sure
