Very clean property, comfortable beds, great atmosphere to relax in the lounge area, feels like home in Japanese style! Staff are amazingly helpful and kind to ensure you have a pleasant stay in the hostel. Their home-made breakfast is delicious, and they speak English which is very helpful. They are truly special and outstanding and I hope to go back one day.
Taketa is a perfect location if you want to take day trips. We also had a car which was helpful to get to any attractions in the area.
Cozy, authentic mood accommodation. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hostel was a nice blend of old architecture (e.g lovely central courtyard) and modern amenities. Staff were welcoming and had many suggestions for where to visit in town.
Very nice hostel, well located in Taketa right next to the station
Staff was very helpful with a lot of information provided about the surroundings, restaurants, transport, etc
Building super nice, quiet, peaceful. Shower perfect, cleanliness awesome
They serve a small but nice breakfast in the cafe, which turn into a bakery in the day
Would definitely recommend to stay there
A beautiful hostel with beautiful architecture and a cool bakery. The location was fantastic, only a few steps from the train station. The hosts were very welcoming. I was so glad when he told me that there would be a Bamboo Lighting Festival on the weekend. The whole town was lit up with bamboo candles on the streets and on the steps leading to the shrines. Everything was perfect!
