The rooms were large for Japanese standards. My room had a convertible sofa/futon. Twin bed mattress felt a little softer than I'm used to but I slept well. Rooms were clean and walls/flooring were in good condition. Bathroom were clean and looked to be recently renovated.
Hotel is central to the JR Matsuyama station.
simple but all needed necessity to stay is complete.
Great staff, very welcoming, comfortable and pristine rooms, and the attached restaurant is great value (900 yen) with a large assortment of foods and drinks
Everything was excellent. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the discount ticket to the onsen.
The only thing that spoiled the experience was the smell of cigarettes in the room..

We were doing the Shikoku pilgrimage. The hotel was at a location which was close to the public transportation to Kuma Kogen, our next hop. The room size was above average. It was clean.
