Surrounded by lush greenery, Windsor Hotel Toya Resort features a golf course and tennis courts. Rooms at Toya Windsor Resort come with an interior in light colors, floor-to-ceiling windows and a comfortable seating area. Amenities include an LCD TV, a mini-bar and an attached bathroom with designer toiletries, a bathtub and bathrobes. Free wired internet is provided. At Toya Windsor's spa, guests can enjoy the indoor pool with glass ceiling or unwind in the hot tub. They can take skiing lessons at Snow Village, or join a trekking tour. The ski slopes are open from January to mid-March. A playroom and sports activities are available for children. The hotel dispatches a shuttle to JR Toya Station on time to pick up guests. The hotel is located in a scenic spot with excellent service from all staff, comprehensive facilities, and is a five-star hotel worth revisiting.”
The view and outdoor onsen was excellent. Japanese restaurant and sushi restaurant were perfect.
I loved the atmosphere. You will feel very isolated from the world, in a good way. The onsen was great as was the breakfast. The snowstorm at the hotel was something else. The views cannot be beat. The snow was incredible. Loved swimming in a pool while it was snowing outside. Beautifully decorated for Christmas
It's a nice property with beautiful lounge room. The room size is spacious and relatively modern. I love the internal shopping facilities. Very convenient.
The settings and views are superb: from one side totally unobstructed views of Lake Toya and the sea on the other side! Our room had a Lake view and we took full advantage of that.
The hotel decor, style and appearance are grand, and not by chance this hotel has been a repeated choice for several high profile events, such as G8 summits and so on.
The choice of restaurants and food is varied and the quality of the food is excellent (we tried only Japanese food).
The onsen/spa (one of them, which alternates daily between male and female) has an outdoor warm pool, with views of Lake Toya.
Aside the onsen, there are very good facilities including swimming pools, souvenir shops, golf, skiing (in winter), etc.
