We absolutely loved staying here. The couple who owned the place were so helpful and kind to us. It isa 5 minute walk to the Shinden bus stop which made it super easy for luggage and taking the bus. Town is so close and there are 2 onsens within a 5 minute walk. The beds were so comfy and we loved that there was a heater in the room, we were never cold. The drying room for all the gear in the basement was such a nice touch. 100% recommend and we will be staying here again upon our return:)

The owners were lovely. The breakfast was easily the best I had while in Japan! A very nice onsen is a 30 second walk away. The beds were comfy and the space suitable for the 3 people we had. We loved our stay!

We loved our stay at Tobei. Conveniently located in the village close to restaurants and the ski hill. The place is clean and we loved the breakfast. Would love to stay again in the future!

very nice host, super friendly, good english. Room is cozy, breakfast is delicious. All necessary facilities are included, like laundry, shower room, shampoo, tooth brush, even a very convenient drying room. the only downside is no onsen. The free public onsen is outside the Ryokan and is too hot to get in...but overall great value for money

This place is by far one of my favourite places in Nozawa. The location is perfect, everything walking distance. The room has an authentic Japanese feel to it. There aren’t a lot of rooms, so quiet and peaceful. Lastly, the mother and daughter are amazing people and very helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again.
