There was everything you may need, easily accessible and with english descriptions too. Conviniet self check-in.
I had the most incredible stay here. The house is beautiful, a traditional family home with some modern renovations i.e the kitchen, which is incredibly well equipped. the town is beautiful, the people are so kind, Maizuru is a great location to daytrip to other places e.g. Amanohashidate. There are two heritage public bathhouses in Maizuru where you are made to feel very welcome. The nearby hillside has 4 beautiful historic Buddhist temples. There's an historic fishing village too, incredibly photogenic with its canals at sunset.
Yuka, the house manager, is so helpful (and has great English!!) There are free bicycles to use, a great way to explore the area. I went here for 2 nights and stayed for over a week. Such a wonderful house and location
Lovely, traditional guesthouse with shared bathroom. Quiet location. Extensive shared kitchen facilities.
The stay was nice, clean, and accessible from the closest train station. I liked how it resembled a traditional Japanese style home.
Overall, it was a good experience.
Great place to rest quietly. Nice common areas and comfortable bunk beds.
